Christmas cookies

We've made lots of cookies lately. Mostly cuz they sound good and it's fun. Here's Ashley cleaning my mixer beater. She ate the cookie too that she was supposed roll into a ball and put on the cookie sheet. She did a pretty thorough job of cleaning my beater.

William rolling out his ginger bread dough. His cars had to line up to watch what he was doing. He's my kitchen helper and loves to roll out dough and make shapes. Then he eats them.

We also attempted snow popcorn like Grandma Bath makes, but it didn't quite taste the same. It was still good. The kids loved it and they loved watching all the popcorn pop!

This month has been a very busy one. John has been so busy at school with projects and papers. We hope the end of the PhD is soon approaching. The kids and I have kept busy. The Christmas tree has had plenty of abuse, but is well loved. We are excited for Christmas in Seattle. It will be fun!
