We headed north for Christmas early on the 24th. We met up with the rest of the family at Phil and Pam's. There was lots of yummy food and people to talk to. It was great to see everyone.

Great Grandma and Dad and A.

Here's the whole crew opening presents.

W knows how to open a present!

Before presents, the kids were running around playing with nerf guns. A did to whatever W did-including pretending to be injured and lying on the floor.

Christmas morning at Grandparents' Clarke. A's doll from Grandma Bath.

Grandma Clarke playing lightsaber duels with the kids.

A unwrapping her tea set. She loves to play with it. So cute.

W and trucks! He had so much fun at Grandma's and Theresa's. He keeps asking if he can go back.

This is what Christmas morning was like before the kids woke up. Christmas was great and we had such a fun time! We love our family and miss them already. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for all your love and hospitality. We love to visit! Christmas is an amazing time of year and we are grateful to our Savior for his life. Merry late Christmas!

A is standing next to her present from Phil and Pam.

Here it is assembled at home. It's awesome. A now has a place to wash her baby, feed her baby, change her baby and even cook food. She loves it and she has so many babies to take of now.

J and I have been married for five years! To celebrate we went to Center Island in the San Juans. Many thanks to Aunt Theresa and Uncle Greg for taking care of our kids for three days and letting us stay in their cabin and paying for our ferry ride! It was relaxing and fun- a nice break from the norm of life. It's a beautiful place.

This is the Paraclete ferry. We rode this boat to get to and from the island. The ride out was exciting-lots of waves.

Here's John standing where he could get cell phone reception. It was snowing so I tried to get a picture of the snow too. We also saw deer right out the window and when the sun came out after the snow the water sparkled and it was just beautiful.

We went for a walk one day on the island and found beach access. It was super cold, but the walk felt good and we took a picture of the water and another island behind us.

The cabin is behind us. I thought we'd taken pictures of the cabin, but this was the only one. It was a great anniversary and we had a good time. Thanks a bunch Theresa and Greg!!
Looks like you had a Merry Christmas! Happy Anniversary, too! We celebrated our 7th on the 26th. Getting married around Christmas is a little crazy, but it's a fun time. Love the pictures!
