Our ward had a Pinewood Derby activity Friday night. They had a snazzy metal track that was computerized! William and Ashley had front row seats for the cub scouts' races. They had fun cheering and getting into the fun of racing. I took the girls home partway into the activity due to orneriness and fatigue. William had fun racing our car and we even won a few races.

The weather here has been fabulous so we decided to be outside while we can. Saturday we went to the Catalina State Park to do some hiking. We hiked 2.2 miles round trip. William hiked the entire way. Ashley was carried part of the way up the trail but she walked all the way down the trail. We went to the Montrose pools where there was water!

It was a fun day and we had a good time hiking. Hopefully we'll get to go more often. The kids had a great time finding sticks and playing in the water and throwing rocks.
seeing those pictures of all those pinewood derby cars got Joseph very excited to make his own some day. Congradulations on winning some of the races!
