The above photos are from our hike to Sanctuary Cove last weekend. It was super windy and dirt swirling up into Ashley's face bothered her so John ended up carrying her the whole way. William led the way and hike the entire loop. There were loose rocks in some places and we all slipped now and then. We had fun reading all the inspirational quotes on plaques on along the way. Sanctuary Cove is a nature area designed for quiet reflection and prayer. Here's the link if you'd like to check it out: http://www.sanctuarycove.org/default.html
It was a lot of fun. After the hike we went to the park and ate lunch and ran around the horseshoe pits.
You guys are very adventurous! I'm impressed with all the fun things you are finding to do in AZ.
