June has been a fun, busy month although I don't have many pictures to document it. John and I went to the Mesa Temple for the first time since Maren was born. We've started to temple swap with another family in our ward so hopefully we can go more often. We've been swimming a lot and having lots of friends come over to swim with us. It's too hot to go to the park, but we do go to the library often. The kids are participating in the summer reading program. The library gave them a reading passport where they can do activities to earn stamps. They have each set a goal to accomplish by July 21st. If they reach their goal they get to choose a new book from the library. If they complete six activities they get to go to the Zoo for free. William is learning his letters, the sounds they make and how to write them. Ashley wants to read 210 books. Some of the activities we've done so far are: go on a treasure hunt, explore our neighborhood and pick up trash, read a book set in the Southwest, read a poem, write a story, paint a picture.

Maren is growing so fast. She now has four teeth. She weighs almost 16lbs. She likes to eat. She loves homemade bread. She loves to play with her siblings until they get a little too rough with her. She is fun.
John stays busy at work. He is the new ward executive secretary. He still finds time to chase the kids around the house after dinner. He helps me with dishes and he fixes things around the house. He is amazing. Hope you are having a great summer!!
I love the summer reading program. Yours sounds way awesome with activities to accomplish as well as reading books.
