September

September feels like it has gone by very quickly.  School started the day after Labor Day and we are still adjusting to four kids in school.  William is running cross country this year and doing well.  Ashley ran for ASB treasurer.  She was not elected, but we are proud of her for trying.  She made posters, a campaign video, and handed out fake dollar bills with her picture on them.  John, William and his friends chopped up some wood for a sweet lady in our ward who heats her home all winter with her wood burning stove.  While they did that I was dancing it up at Activity Day Camp with Ashley and Maren.  Sept 25 was Maren and Jacob's birthdays.  Jacob had friends over to play and eat lunch.  Maren got a large cupcake from her teacher at school. On a sad note, John's mother passed away Thursday morning.  We took a quick trip to Everett to be with her before she passed.  We were able to tell her we loved her and sing some of our favorite Primary songs to her.  Afterward we spent time with John's family who we love, love, love.  On our way back home we stopped at Deception Falls for a rainy walk to stretch our legs.  Then we lunched in Leavenworth at our favorite restaurant--Los Camperos.  We even grabbed a yummy chocolate something from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  

It's good to be home.  We've had a very crazy September and I've a feeling October is going to be a tad bit crazier!!
