Easter

Easter 2011 was a lot of fun. Grandma and Grandpa Bath, Amber and Nate came to visit from Utah. They got here on Thursday and stayed till Sunday afternoon. We went down to the riverfront and walked the path and a little of town. We walked to the duck park and Sunset park. The kids had fun dyeing eggs. William liked his eggs green and blue. Ashley just like dipping everything in the dye. William had a constant book reader in Grandpa which gave me a break. John was gone to Tucson, AZ for a job interview but we kept him updated with the going ons (as he did us).

Eggs almost done!

Both kids had such goofy faces I had to put this pic in. This was our walk to see the ducks and the beaver dams.

Taking a break.

Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt. Ashley hunting for eggs. We made baskets out of milk jugs. The eggs to find were color coded so Ashley knew to pick up only the pink ones. William was in constant motion and hard to take a picture.

Ashley dropped an egg and it broke open and the cheerios were in the grass. She and Nate ate them together. Then she would empty her other eggs into the grass and eat the contents out of the grass. It was a warm sunny day and we all had lots of fun. John came home from Tucson after the Grandparents left. It was good to have our Daddy home. He's got a busy week this week: he defends his thesis on Thursday!!
