She's Here!!

Maren Rose has arrived!  She was born Sept 25th at 5:30am.  She was also born on Aunt Pam's birthday--Yay!  Celeste went to the RS broadcast Saturday night, came home, watched a little football, then went to bed.  At 10:30pm her water broke, only she didn't realize that's what it was till about 12:30 when contractions started.  A wonderful lady in our ward came over at 2:30a to be with our kids and off to the Women's Center we went.  We made it into the delivery room a little after 4am and Maren was born at 5:30a.  It was a little too quick for the nurse who managed to catch Maren at the right time.  The Dr came in five minutes later and was very bummed not to have a baby to deliver.  Maren swallowed a lot of amniotic fluid coming out, but is doing great!  She weighed 5lbs 13oz and was 18.5 inches long.  She's very cute and the kids already love her.
