I can't believe May is over! It seemed to fly by. We have been busy with home school and enjoying the increasingly better weather. John went to Seattle for a week to help his Dad who was recovering from surgery. We had a couple of weeks of rain which was great...no need to water the lawn. The kids are designing a chicken coop that they will build this summer.
Ashley is learning all about chickens, so we'll be prepared to get
chicks next spring. We have three more weeks of school and then summer can officially begin!

I love that they have a digging area!! Chickens are pretty fun and a great chore for kids!
