This is an October morning! The kids were playing in the front yard. William showing Ashley how to work the spinner toy. It was pretty cute. She felt so special that William was taking time to teach her how to do it.

Hey Mom. I finally took a picture of my wreath!

We made sugar cookies today and decorated them. I gave the kids a little bit of dough so they could roll over it and push their cookie cutters into it. Sissy thought it was play dough at first and poked it and tried to roll it into a ball. Then she saw William eat some. "Hmmm," she thought, "he's weirder than I thought."

William did a good job rolling his dough and making shapes and then "erasing" them again with the roller.

Ashley even got a turn.

Cookie cutter pose.

Later we decorated cookies. Ashley ate hers.

William's really into candy corn! It was a lot of fun! Then for FHE we took plates of cookies around to a few people in our ward to wish them "Happy Halloween." In the car we sang "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam" and discussed how taking cookies to people makes them happy and how it makes us happy too to be a sunbeam. It was fun!
